What I like getting
The corrections, and the versions of a job I have not met. Someone who was taught to sharpen differently, or who has kept a pan going for forty years on a method I have never heard. Several pieces here exist because a reader wrote and told me I had the order of the steps wrong. If something you send turns into an article I will ask you first, and I will not use your name unless you want me to.
What I cannot do
I cannot tell you what is wrong with something I have not seen. Photographs help less than people expect, and guessing confidently is the exact habit this site was started to get away from. I do not do paid consultations. Anything structural, electrical, gas, or load bearing belongs with a qualified trade rather than in my inbox.
The notes box
The box on the homepage is a plain mailto link. Using it opens the mail program on your own device with a message addressed to the address above, which is a personal inbox. There is no list, no platform, and nothing stored anywhere else. The privacy policy sets out the whole of it.
Corrections
If I got something wrong, say so. It goes on the page with a note about what changed.

There are no sponsored pieces here dressed up as ordinary ones, and nothing is written to order. Read the affiliate disclosure and the editorial policy before sending anything. Being sent a tool does not commit me to writing about it, or to liking it.
